Whitewater Rafting >>

 

On Thursday during your week at camp you will take an early morning drive to Buena Vista, Colorado to raft the Arkansas River with Noah's Ark Whitewater Rafting Company.

 

You will spend the morning rafting Brown's Canyon, which is not only perfect for beginners, but is technical and challenging enough to excite veteran rafters. The trip downriver is about 10 miles which will take 2-3 hours depending on the water level.  You will encounter a few Class III whitewater rapids, which are of moderate difficulty and are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Make sure to bring a swimsuit and sunscreen as you will have time between rapids to enjoy the sun and the beautiful views.

 

After your adventure down the river you will be shuttled back to Noah's Ark for a delicious lunch before departing back to camp.
